Students participate in Physical Education classes from Year 1 to Year 12 on a weekly basis as part the of the school's standard academic program. Specially trained teachers target skills to the age and ability of the students.

Throughout the year, targetted sporting events occur for the Junior, Middle and Senior sections of the school. These events include the Swimming Carnival, Athletics Carnival, and Cross Country Carnival. Students who perform well in these school events are invited to participate in the Interschool Cross Country, and Interschool Athletics.

Grace also has Netball, Basketball and Soccer teams which participate in the local area seasonal competitions.

An understanding of the well-being of the whole person, comes from the Biblical understanding of people. Because people are created in the image of God, it is in God's will that they find purpose in their existence, enjoy life and reach their full potential.

Knowing God's love and forgiveness provides a basis for wholeness and security; the support of a loving school community provides the ideal environment for the development of a healthy body and a healthy self-image.

While needing to keep a balance and Godly perspective, physical discipline and training can be an expression of the desire to develop the body as a temple of the Holy Spirit. Sporting competitions can provide the opportunity to demonstrate a Godly lifestyle and relationships base on Christian values.

Through Health & Physical Education classes, a teacher has an unparalleled opportunity to set an example of how a Christian should behave, and point students to the divine example, the character and work of God as revealed in Scripture.
