Why Christian Education

Theologian and pastor John Calvin once said “There is no knowing that does not begin with knowing God”. A Christian worldview drives the ethos of our School, and underpins the purpose and content of our learning program.

A Christ-centered, biblically grounded education seeks to draw students into a closer relationship with God, learning about His world in a way that glorifies Him. When learning is undertaken in the context of a Christian worldview, children are equipped to develop lives of knowledge and understanding based on God’s truth.

Christian education recognises that our children are ‘wonderfully made’ (Psalm 139) in God’s own image. As such, our students are supported in their growing understanding of God’s purpose for their lives, as well as their capacity to make positive contributions to their local and wider communities as a global citizen of God’s world.
